One is expected to wake up with the aid of the sun (or at least some light), energetic, ready to begin the day and take it all in. But not in Spain…During the fall, winter and some of the spring months, the sun just rises very late here. This might be a matter of perspective of course, as in some Northern and Southern hemisphere countries the sun sometimes just doesn’t appear depending on the times of year, but I just wish it was easier waking up to go to work. Anyway, what natural light can’t do, artificial can and a quick shower of course. The upside to all of this, the sun sets a little later. Photo taken at 7:25am.
Anyway enough complaining and off to substitute history at the Benjamin Franklin American school in Barcelona. It’s one of the places I enjoy waking up to go to.
